Wed, 11 Jul
|University Hospital Wishaw
A practical session in resus with the Quantiflex (the entonox machine) and how to look after patients that have been sedated.
Time & Location
11 Jul 2018, 10:00 – 12:00
University Hospital Wishaw, 50 Netherton St, Wishaw ML2 0DP, UK
About the event
A 60-90 minute session on the quantiflex machine. How to test it, how to set it up and how to use it.
This machine is so much better than the entonox cylinders but is woefully underused in the ED due to lack of familiarity.
The session will help you understand why is it a great piece of equipment and we will also briefly discuss the reasons behind the nursing care required of a sedated patient.
